Master Rajab Ebrahimi (Farhad) (1935–2019), known by his artistic name (Farhad), was a distinguished Azerbaijani poet, writer, and lyricist whose name is forever associated with one of the most enduring songs in Azerbaijani music history: “Ayrılıq” (Separation).
Through his deeply emotional lyrics, filled with longing, love, and separation, he earned a respected place in Azerbaijani culture and musical literature.
